A Little Sunshine...

When I came home from work yesterday, I received a little bit of sunshine in this rather gray winter we are having. I love flowers and try to ignore that all mine are gone outside. BUT this flower my boss gave me at Christmas bloomed and it was breathtaking! Spring is almost here! Well, in a couple of months..but almost here.

Baby Blessings...

Our friends are the new grandparents to a little boy born on Christmas Day! They had two girls so this boy is such a blessing and the best Christmas present ever! I made this card for them and...worked a little orange into it. :)

Another Layout...

I am so glad I was able to scrapbook this weekend! I finished up 4 layouts that I just had to add pictures and journal. And made 2 new layouts. I also organized my pages in their right books...I had some stuck in the wrong year...oh no! These pictures are not that great but wanted to share them with you anyway.

A Layout!!!

I can't remember the last time I did a layout and am super glad I did! I scrapbooked Thanksgiving (added pictures to my workshop samples) and Daffodil Hill from last spring. And still working! My husband has only made one comment in regards to us not being able to eat dinner at the table!!!

Happy Birthday to You....

Thursday is my brother's birthday. Bill is 13 mos. younger than me. Once I had children, I wondered how in the world my mother did it! When my oldest was just past a year old, I couldn't imagine having a new born. She deserves a medal for sure, very courageous!

"Hearts" Workshop

Cards From Upcoming "Hearts" Workshop

Here is a sneak peek from the upcoming "Hearts" workshop. I used the Holiday Hoopla stamp set (D1382) that I am coming to adore after using it for the calendar workshop we had in December. It is so fun and can be used for any event I am finding out! I also used patterned paper from the "Jingle" (X7115B) CTMH paper packet. Thank you Close to My Heart for creating a Christmas packet to be used all year round!

Allie's Quilt

Yippy! First project finished for 2010! I wont tell you how long ago I started this beautiful quilt! (hint- Allie is 7 mos old) This is a charm square pattern and the fabric is "Charleston" from Marcus Fabrics.

I couldn't resist and had to share my birthday present from my bff! She knows me sooo well and my love for orange!

She made me a beautiful table runner and gave me the CUTEST orange sewing kit PURSE! Thank you so much Debby for the yummy lunch and my wonderful gifts!

Happy New Year!

Wow can you believe it is 2010! Just seems like yesterday that we were celebrating the new millennium! Any New Years Resolutions for you?

Mine:

1. gym

2. changing my eating habits

3. at least one scrapbook layout a month

4. at least one finished quilting project a month

Now this doesn't sound too hard huh? I aimed low on my crafting projects as not to get discouraged and I put a counter on my blog to motivate me. (lets see how that works!)
