Spring Layout...

I have been trying to keep up on my scrapbooking and here is a finished product! Yippy! One down many, many more to scrap...

I especially love this little treasure we found in our yard last year...you can read my journaling pic that tells about it and click on the pages to enlarge so you can see the baby birdies! Also, if you look really hard you can see all the rub-ons I used. Love the rub-ons!

Baby Flip-Flap Album

I think I made up for not crafting on my three day weekend...two layouts, two journals and a baby gift! Oh and a card my husband needed for a friend. (You can only imagine the mess I have!!!) This mini album is totally scrap-lifted from the talented ladies of the Close To My Heart bulletin boards. Thank you ladies!

March Workshop Journals

I was getting a little stressed out with the lack of time for crafting but...I am finished with my samples for the March workshop. Yeah! I am extra excited about this workshop because...at our December workshop I gave the ladies a "challenge". We did this last year so it is our 2nd Annual Contest. I gave them a CTMH "My Creations Memory Showcase Album". They are to decorate, embellish and include pictures. The lucky winner will win a stamp set of their choice. I can't wait to see them!

I had fun making these "My Creations Journals" from Close to My Heart and will definitely need to order more for quick gifts! The ideas are endless...prayer journal, garden journal, grateful journal, quilting journal...so many ideas so little time!

I used "You Rock" and "Veranda" CTMH paper packs.

Is It True....

could spring almost be here??? My lone daffodil is blooming! That is a sure sign spring is right around the corner!
A busy weekend with my husband's birthday on Saturday and Valentines Day on Sunday and Tim's mom visiting. Allie came to visit too...she is growing so fast! She crawls backwards now....maybe forward next week!

For the Boys...

I made these valentines for the boys in my life. My sons, Brian and Scott and for my hubby Tim. Tim got a sneak peek and loved them. They made him laugh and laughs are always a good thing!
He also wondered where I got those sayings...I guess it is a good thing he really doesn't notice my craft room where ALL those sayings are stored! ($$$)

You're Hip Valentine!

A Valentine for a friend. At our age, to say we are hip is a good thing! (since our teenagers for years told us otherwise!) Happy Monday!

Something New...

I have a new block of the month that I started. Two of my dearest friends that I worked with over 25 years ago have gotten together to meet once a month at Quilters Corner in Sacramento. This is the January block we have made. I makes my heart happy to have us all together again! This is called Redwork and once all the months are finished will be made into a wall hanging. (I used brown thread so...is it called Brownwork?)

Wow!

Look how cute this bag is my friend Debby made me! She saw it on a blog and presto...she has been whipping them out like crazy! One of the sweet touches she adds is her mother's antique buttons. I am encouraging her to sell them on Etsy...they are sooo darn cute! Thank you Debby!

Skater Birthday Card

We have so many birthdays this month and this is a boy card I make for my nephew. I plan on getting caught up on my birthday cards after work today so...hopefully I will have some new creations to share tomorrow! I have been having fun going through my old CTMH "woodies" and experimenting with my Copic markers....so much to learn! (Oh and yes...that is SUN you see coming in the windows! Whohoo!)
