Block of the Month!

It was so nice to catch up on my sewing this weekend!  I am now ready for my final block next Sunday.....then the wheels will start turning.  "How will I make it into a quilt?"

More Christmas Cards....

 

  I held a Christmas Card Workshop in

 November and decided to use Close to My Heart's

Smokey Plum ink with the Frosted

paper packet.  Love this color combination!

 

A Little Bit of Christmas....

I wanted to share a little bit of what Christmas is like

at our house this year.....

My sweet Jack!  He is 8 years old now and I thought he

had outgrown climbing the tree....ugh,, I guess they

never grow up! 

Seven Days!

Seven more days....are you ready?  I do have to say I bought

my last gift today!  Such a great feeling!

Close to My Heart's Sparkle and Shine paper packet was so fun to play with as

well as the cute Santa stamp set.  He is so darn cute! 

 

The Merry and Bright stamp is from CTMH's Sparkle and Shine

Workshop on the Go.  I love it when I can use the stamp set

for cards and scrapbook pages!

I Have Been Crafting....Really I Have!

  On my goodness it's been so long since I posted!  Since my last post, I have finished 2009's scrapbook and almost finished with 2011, completed 4 WOTG kits and 2 Card Making kits.

And then....I made this fun 8x8 Kraft Album from CTMH.  It's kind of eclectic and I can't wait to put pics in!  Company loves to look through them on my coffee table...

Finally had a moment to post!  I have a special friend that loves

to have a stash of my cards on hand.  For her birthday, I added

to her supply!  I adore these retired Florentine papers from

 CTMH.  So glad I added more to my stash!

Cricut Craft Room

Surfs Up Gift Card Holders

Happy Monday Everyone!  I was able to get some crafting in

this weekend.  Yay!

 

 

I have been preparing for my upcoming workshop using

CTMH's Surfs Up Workshop on the Go. 

These are from the bonus project that I turned into

gift card holders.  I made a tag out of CTMH Glitter

Paper and will write of the back of the tag and

insert a gift card.  So fun to make!

I am notorious for trying to catch up on my scrapbooking!  I love to

combine Close to My Heart's Studio J digital

scrapbooking with my traditional pages.

 

As you can see....it helped me get my photo's documented for

Christmas 2007!!!  There is hope getting my books all caught up.

So Much Fun!

 

 

I did find time to go to the last King's game of the

season with my youngest son!  I hadn't been to

a game with him in years, so since this may be

our last game *sigh* I knew I wanted to share

the memory with him.

 

It was a close game against the Clippers

and even though we didn't win....

we had a blast!!!

Welcome Ashlie!

It has been a whirlwind this past month, but I am so happy to welcome a new

daughter-in-law to our family!

 

Ashlie was a beautiful bride and I had so much fun helping with

the table settings and seating numbers.

And to top it off....she asked me to help her make a

scrapbook!  Yes, I am blessed!

I decided on spelling out Spring instead of Easter, since I

Hello!

I guess I am due for my "Monthly Post"!

 

The bridal shower was a success and I had so much

fun planning, creating and decorating!

We had pom-poms and a banner I cut from my CTMH

Cricut cartridge.

and bags I stamped with the same stamp as the

invitations.

 

 

And....The Bride!

Ashlie had a wonderful time and her sister made

a bouquet out of the ribbons, bows and tissue to be used at the

rehearsal. Eighteen more days and I will have a

daughter! I am truly blessed! 

 



 



 



Thank You!

I am working on a Bridal Shower for my future daughter in law! Receiving a lot of help, which has been a true blessing!

There will be a candy buffet for favors and these are some labels for the candy containers!

Wedding just around the corner! Yay!!!

Will Miss You

I wanted to make a special card for the Interim Pastor and his wife as they have finished their time at our church. Many tears as I will miss them terribly.

Good news....they will be coming to dinner in a few weeks!

A new year and hopefully more posts for you all!

 December just seemed to fly by and January is on its way!

 

Our family has a busy year with the wedding of my oldest son in April.

So exciting!!!

 

Here is my December "My Heart's Swap".  And... here were the requirements:

 

1. Must be at least 8 layers
2. Must use a winter themed stamped image
3. Must use at least 2 Cricut images
4. Card can have no holiday sentiments
5. You can not use red, green or blue
6. Must use at least one background stamp set or

 make your own background with mulitiple stamp sets
7. Must have at least 2 embellishments
