Giving Thanks

This weekend flew by!  But...

 

I am thankful for a 3 day work week this week,

 for making my Thanksgiving cards

today, for using an unused stamp set, for

finding snowflake cookie cutters and for being

able to see Twilight tomorrow night!!!

Hope you are enjoying your week. Kinda nice having a holiday in the middle of the week, a little break from payroll, month end and year end! 

I used an "Easel Card" pattern and blinged it up.  I "lifted" the bird, bling and paper idea from the Close to My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book.  Thanks for looking and hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!

You're An Angel

I can't tell you how much I love Close To My Heart's "Footloose" Paper Packet!  It screams summer vacation!  I used a water brush to give the sweet angel fish some color and of course some bling!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!  Our weekend was super busy, but we were able to take a bike ride this afternoon and have a wonderful quiet evening.  My co-worker wanted to purchase a thank you card from me.  I made a super easy card, but think she will like it.

Friend...

Did some crafting yesterday to get ready for my upcoming "Stella" Workshop on the Go, but did have time to create a card for my friend's birthday.  I have had this stamp set for awhile.  I just started using it and can't stop!  Way to use what I already have, right?

Sweet Baby...

Can you tell "It's a Girl"?  LOL  Went to a fun baby shower today and being a mother of two boys...loved the gifts she received.  Baby Shiloh will no doubt be the best dressed baby on the block!

Card Set Workshop

Thank you Vicki from the Wizard's Hangout!  I was in need of a fresh idea for my upcoming workshop and this box is adorable.  So many ways to decorate it.  I opted for some simple cards to fit inside and used Close to My Heart's Roxie paper packet.  I know the girls are going to love the bling!

This is another card I made from Stamp Camp.  I cant believe we are moving in less than two weeks. All my treasures will be able to come out of their boxes!!!  And then Let the Stamping Begin!!!

Joy!

What a busy couple of weeks!  We have put our home on the market and had 3 offers the first day.  We found a place and will now be in the process of packing and moving.  Whew!  I haven't had a lot of time to craft, but hope to do so once I get packed and wait for moving day.

I found the template for this card from Paper Crafts Magazine.  It was fun and easy to make and of course I got to use my Cricut for the holly and tab on the insert.  I thought this would be a great Christmas card to put a picture on!

I just love our new Stamp of the Month and it goes so well with our Cricut Cartridge!  These stockings are adorable!  I cut out the stockings for this card at 3.25 inches and of course you can cut them out by hand too.  This card is my version of the card on page 141 in the Close to My Heart Idea book.  If you are interested in this Stamp of the Month or interested in a catalog, please email me at tntwisterman@sbcglobal.net.

Birthday Gift Card

My oldest son Brian will be 28 this weekend.  Where did the time fly!  I am so proud of him and love his new fiance, Ashlie.  Yes, a wedding!  I am so happy for them both!  I made this card for him with some "goodies" in it.  Happy Birthday my Sweet Son!

World Card Making Day!

Are you crafting today? I am cleaning house and getting ready for family to come over for a salmon feast! Hubby is making his famous mango salsa for the salmon we caught...super yummy!

Here is another Christmas card for my upcoming workshop on October 1st. I used CTMH's Art of Philosophy Cricut cartridge, coordinating stamp set "Snowflakes" D1480, Grey Flannel and Crystal Blue inks.

Here is another card I made for my upcoming workshop. I love to use my copic markers, but since it is for a workshop I used CTMH's stamp pads and the water brush.

I used the sketch from SFYTT-Sketch for You to Try. Check out their blog. I like that you have an entire month to enter this challenge....sometimes a girl just needs more time! LOL

My next posts will be from our Oregon vacation, so my Christmas cards will be put on hold for awhile. I will be getting ready for vacation, which includes teaching my dad how to separate and distribute my Close to My Heart order! Hope that goes well!!! LOL

I spent this weekend making samples for my upcoming Christmas Card Workshop in October. This is one of the cards I came up with using the new Close to My Heart Art of Philosophy Cricut cartridge. I just can't stop using it!! The colors are non-traditional, but I always like to throw those in the mix!

Happy Birthday....

Received the new SU catalog and loved the card on the front. This is my version with the stamps I already have...my new goal is to use what I already have before buying a stamp set for just one card. (let's see how long that lasts!) Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!

Thank You Very Much...

I just love this new stamp set from CTMH. There are many "thank yous" to choose from and there is always one in just the right size and font. I used my left over cards from my last card workshop to put this together. (I try to make extra kits for last minute attendees and also in case I need a last minute card.)
