Workshop on the Go!

I am so excited to be starting out new Workshop on the Go Club next weekend! Here are a couple of sample layouts that I made using the Fanfare kit. These kits include a paper packet, stamp set and embellishments along with directions to make two layouts and/or 12 cards. If you would like to purchase the kit, you can visit my website and look at all the kits available!

Of course I had to make them my own! I changed the layout titles and added some Chocolate and Sweet Leaf card stock to get ready for our new grandson addition next week! Baby Levi will be making his grand entrance on April 13th! Can't wait to see him!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and check back soon as I hope to have the sample cards to show you from the Workshop on the Go!

Wings WOTG

This layout is my version of the Wings Workshop on the Go kit from Close to My Heart. I was looking for pictures of my mom and realized that she too was the picture taker of the family so I didn't find many of her. Tip for the day...let people take pictures of you! I will try and take my own advice!

Happy Superbowl day for those of you that are watching...for those you that aren't...major sales out there ladies!

Sketches in Thyme #32

This is my last challenge of the weekend...I must get some stuff done around the house! Boohoo!

The layout is for the Sketches in Thyme #32 challenge. It was our granddaughter Allie's first birthday party last year. She is such a sweet doll! I used CTMH's Top Stitch paper pack, the same pattern I used for her invitations.

This was a fun sketch...why don't you come play along with us! (warning though...you may not get your housework done!)

Scrapbook Workshop Layouts

Close to My Heart came out with an awesome new "how to" book. It has many ideas for "inter-active" scrapbook layouts. I wanted to use some of the recipes for our next workshop but it was so hard to pick just two! We will have to do more in the coming months. The book is call "Magic" and can be ordered on my website at http://tammywisterman.myctmh.com

I hope you can see the "inter-activeness" from my pictures! The "I Heart Fall" layout is right out of the Magic book! Different paper but same idea. Totally "scrap-lifted"! I used CTMH Flip Flaps on the "Merry Christmas 2010" layout. I love how you can add so many pictures to one layout!

Flashback Friday Challenge!

Then...

Now...

My friend shared this on her blog and boy what a challenge. We were to post one of our first scrapbook pages and then a current page. What can I say..."We have come a long way baby!"

This Flashback Layout was made around 2000....when my boys were way into their teenage years and I was wondering where my sweet boys went! I found their pictures and started creating albums of the days when they still liked me! Great therapy! Thank goodness those years do not last forever!

I am slightly embarrassed by my first layouts, in fact when my son was showing his girlfriend this album my husband said to me "You really need to update this!" What do you think?

Check out Tsurata Designs...she has an adorable blog!

Disneyland Workshop Layouts

These are the layouts we made at our workshop last Sunday. It was fun scrapping some of my pictures from last years trip although....there are lots more to scrap! I have some final touches to finish, like some journaling but wanted to share what I have been working on. (one of the many projects!)
tip: my cricut cartridge cuts perfect mickey mouse ears...found that out after I did my sample layout...the gals got the perfect ears for their projects though!
Have a wonderful 4th of July!!!

The Big Catch!

These layouts are from my husband's salmon fishing trip. He had such a great time! I used CTMH's Flip Flaps to add more pictures. These are great when you have more pictures than you know what to do with! It also creates inter-active pages. (sorry for the lighting on the first picture!)

Spring Layout...

I have been trying to keep up on my scrapbooking and here is a finished product! Yippy! One down many, many more to scrap...

I especially love this little treasure we found in our yard last year...you can read my journaling pic that tells about it and click on the pages to enlarge so you can see the baby birdies! Also, if you look really hard you can see all the rub-ons I used. Love the rub-ons!

Another Layout...

I am so glad I was able to scrapbook this weekend! I finished up 4 layouts that I just had to add pictures and journal. And made 2 new layouts. I also organized my pages in their right books...I had some stuck in the wrong year...oh no! These pictures are not that great but wanted to share them with you anyway.

I can't remember the last time I did a layout and am super glad I did! I scrapbooked Thanksgiving (added pictures to my workshop samples) and Daffodil Hill from last spring. And still working! My husband has only made one comment in regards to us not being able to eat dinner at the table!!!

Celebrating 10 Years

I made this layout for my friend Debby, who is now a 10 year breast cancer survivor! Yes, 10 years! In celebrating, she and Kathy went zip lining...Yes, zip lining! They asked me to go, but I would rather take pictures and scrapbook the event! Congratulations! I am so glad you are my friend and that I am able to scrapbook this wonderful event for you.

Christmas Workshop Layouts

Happy Friday! My dad was staying with us for a couple of weeks and though it was nice to visit, it is nice to be crafting again. Things are back to normal with the scraps of paper trailing from my craft room, down the hall and onto the kitchen counter! I was getting a little nervous that I didnt have my layouts designed for the workshop on the 8th...but I am finished! Have a great weekend and oh...dont forget to turn your clocks back Saturday night. We get an extra hour sleep!

Bella Layouts

I love this CTMH paper! It is called Bella and we did these layouts for a workshop. This is totally "scrap-lifted" from our summer catalog on page 35. We also used the same "Chalk Popping" technique for the flowers.
I am going to Disneyland this weekend so...hopefully I will have some good pics to share! Have a great weekend!

Family Hall-Way of Fame...

One of my many projects is hanging family photos in our hallway. For most people this may be a fairly easy project, but it is a challenge for me to "just" put photos in a frame without "scrapping it up"! This does take a little longer, but I enjoy every minute! This is a picture of my sweet husband, Tim and I. One down and many more to go!
