Be Careful What You Resolve......

My New Years resolution for 2015 was "Be Brave"...and so I have taken a new job and relocated after 30 years of living in Woodland.  Still in Cali, of course, from Northern California to the Central Coast.  It has been an adjustment, but am so happy to be able to spend my weekends visiting places like this!

My hubby had to stay for a couple of years to finish out his retirement but I see him almost every weekend.  Which leaves me more time to craft and hopefully blog!

Banner Frame

I held a "Scrapbuster" workshop for my

customers to use some of their stash to

create a chip board Banner Frame

 from CTMH.

This was my sample that I am using in my

craft room.  Once I hang it up, I will post a picture.

I have an awesome orange framed mirror that

will be hanging next to it.

Yes, I am an orange addict!  :o)

Close to My Heart Challenge

The challenge was to create a layout that would

remind us of our 2015 resolution.

My word of the year or phrase is "Be Brave" and....

My Crush Holiday Happenings Book

I had so much fun taking pictures for the My Crush Holiday 

Happenings Book from Close to My Heart!

Close to My Heart has other My Crush books, but I had

yet to scrapbook them.  After this holiday book....I am

hooked!  I had seen other December Daily albums and

CTMH has made it super easy!  Hoping they make another

for 2015!

the pages.  So this should be it for my December craftiness!

Hello!!!

2014 was a year of change for me.  After 20 years at my job,  

it was time to move on.  This allowed me to be home for the 

holidays, go to the Happiest Place on Earth and 

then being called to new job, which I LOVE!!!

I will start by showing you some of the Christmas cards I 

made with Close to My Heart's Picture My Life

pocket page cards.  These cards are not just

for scrapbooking!

I know it's almost Valentine's Day, but I have 

some catching up to do!

Alphabet Soup

One of my sweetest friends is going to be a first time Grandma!

Today was the shower she was hosting, minus her and

 the Mother-to-Be! Mommy went into labor,

 but the shower went on as scheduled.  

Here is a card I made for her. I used Alphabet Soup by My Mind's Eye.

Canvas Art

I can't believe it's been a year since my oldest son's wedding!  Time really flies!  I made this canvas for their one year anniversary present.  

(Computer died so please excuse my Iphone post!)

Celebrating National Scrapbooking Day!!!

I have been MIA for a bit, but hope to be able to post some of

my creations soon!  I am recovering from knee surgery and will

be so glad when I am able to do the little things, like drive, walking

 and go to CTMH's convention the end of June in Disneyland!

These past two months have really given me time to appreciate that

I was healthy enough to go to the gym and I will be doing that as soon
as possible!

It was so nice to catch up on my sewing this weekend!  I am now ready for my final block next Sunday.....then the wheels will start turning.  "How will I make it into a quilt?"
