Happy, Happy Birthday to You.....

Hope you are enjoying your week. Kinda nice having a holiday in the middle of the week, a little break from payroll, month end and year end! 

I used an "Easel Card" pattern and blinged it up.  I "lifted" the bird, bling and paper idea from the Close to My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book.  Thanks for looking and hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!

Hope everyone is having a glorious 4th of July!  This is my May My Heart's Swap card and thought it had a 4th theme to it.  I will most likely send it as a Birthday card, if I can part with it!

You're An Angel

I can't tell you how much I love Close To My Heart's "Footloose" Paper Packet!  It screams summer vacation!  I used a water brush to give the sweet angel fish some color and of course some bling!

Blog Makeover!!!!

I am so excited to have a blog makeover!  Karen Baker is so wonderful to work with and she does such an awesome job!  Thank you Karen!  And thank you Amy for sharing Karen with us!

I am at Lake Tahoe this weekend....ohhhh so beautiful.  I am here to cheer Hubby on while he rides in a mountain bike challenge.  I was going to give it a try, but am recovering from severe tendonitis...boo!  Can still enjoy the beauty though!

Thinking of You Lucy

I love this card pattern! (It feels good to use some of my scraps) 

 This was one of the cards from my latest card workshop. 

 I used CTMH's "Lucy" paper packet and CTMH Color Ready Seam Binding.  I inked up the seam binding with Blush ink and "krinkled" it a bit.  Oh and used CTMH's AP Cricut Cartridge for the die cut.  Still in love with this cartridge!

So Thankful!

Happy Friday!  For this I am very Thankful! 

Our Women's Ministry is having our annual Garden Party tonight.  The theme is gratitude and so I made these journals to record things we are thankful and will be giving them out to the ladies that attend.  It is always a nice time to visit and eat yummy desserts.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.  I, for one, hope to sleep in tomorrow!

2008 and 2009....

Okay, so I have not been a good blogger lately.  I have been crafting, but not taking pictures.  Hopefully, this weekend I will get out the camera and start shooting!  I only have one birthday party to attend and then I am free!

I have been catching up on my scrapbooks and have been adding some digital pages to help with this process.  Studio J is a very fast way to get this done!  And yes, a couple of these layouts are pictures from 2008 and 2009....geez!!!
